Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2025

1. General overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how payments, refunds and cancellations are handled for the OneSeed Idea to Company program and any related paid services (collectively, the "Program"). By enrolling and making a payment, you agree to this policy.

2. Program fees

Program fees, payment schedules, discounts, and any applicable taxes will be communicated to you clearly before you complete your payment (for example, on the payment page, invoice, or in email).

All fees are payable in the currency and through the payment methods specified by us. You are responsible for any bank charges, conversion charges, or payment gateway fees that may apply.

3. Cancellations by participants (before the program starts)

If you wish to cancel your enrollment before the program start date, please inform us in writing (by email) as soon as possible. Our standard approach is:

  • Up to 7 days before the program start date: We aim to offer a partial refund or credit adjustment, where possible, depending on payment gateway deductions and non-recoverable costs.
  • Less than 7 days before the program start date: In most cases, fees may not be refundable, as cohort planning, seats, and resources are already allocated.

Final decisions may vary based on specific circumstances, offers, or payment plans communicated at the time of enrollment.

4. Cancellations after the program has started

Once the program has started and you have been granted access to sessions, materials, or community spaces, refunds are generally not provided. This is because:

  • The cohort size and slots are limited;
  • We allocate mentor time, operations effort, and resources based on confirmed participants;
  • Program content and frameworks may already be delivered or made available.

In genuine hardship or exceptional situations, you can write to us with details. While we are not obligated to provide a refund, we may at our sole discretion:

  • Offer a partial credit towards a future cohort; or
  • Discuss alternate arrangements on a case-by-case basis, where feasible.

5. No-show and attendance

If you are enrolled in the program but do not attend sessions ("no-show"), this does not qualify for a refund. Recordings or alternate sessions (if any) will be handled as per the specific cohort plan and are not guaranteed unless explicitly promised in writing.

6. Rescheduling or changes by us

We reserve the right to reschedule, modify, or adjust program dates, timings, or formats if needed (for example, due to facilitator availability, operational reasons, or unforeseen events).

If there is a major change (such as a significant postponement or cancellation of a cohort), we will make a reasonable effort to:

  • Offer alternative dates or a future cohort; or
  • Discuss partial or full refunds, depending on how much of the program has already been delivered and costs incurred.

7. Deductions and processing time

Where a refund is approved, please note:

  • Payment gateway charges, bank fees, currency conversion losses, and applicable taxes may be deducted from the refund amount, as these are often non-refundable to us.
  • Refunds will typically be processed via the original mode of payment, unless mutually agreed otherwise.
  • Refund processing time can vary based on banking and payment gateway timelines. Once we initiate the refund, it may take several working days to reflect in your account.

8. Disputes and chargebacks

If you have any issue with the program or a payment, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly.

Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes raised without attempting reasonable communication may result in suspension of current or future access to our programs and services.

9. How to request a refund or discuss a case

To request a refund (where applicable) or discuss a special case, please email us with:

  • Your full name
  • Registered email address
  • Payment reference / transaction ID (if available)
  • Program cohort or dates
  • A short description of the reason for your request or issue

We will review your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe, usually within 7–10 working days.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our program structure, pricing, payment partners, or legal requirements. When we update it, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
